What We Offer

  • Move without bracing. Heal without compensating. Physical therapy at Very Well KC is rehabilitative care with a whole-person lens — focused not just on the injured site but on how the rest of your body has adapted around it. Our licensed physical therapists work with post-surgical recovery, sports and overuse injuries, chronic pain, mobility limitations, and movement dysfunction of all kinds. The goal isn't just getting you back to baseline. It's getting you back to everything you stopped doing because something hurt. Located in Overland Park, accepting new patients throughout the Kansas City area.

  • Your spine is the highway your whole nervous system runs on. Chiropractic care at Very Well KC addresses misalignment, restriction, and dysfunction at the source — so the effects ripple outward into better movement, less pain, improved sleep, and a nervous system that isn't constantly fighting itself. Our chiropractor takes a whole-body approach, looking at how you move, how you hold tension, and what your daily life is asking of your structure. Effective for back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, postural issues, sports injuries, and the general wear of being human.

  • This is what your body has been asking for. Massage therapy at Very Well KC is practiced by licensed therapists who treat it as exactly what it is — medicine. Whether you're managing chronic pain, recovering from injury, carrying the physical weight of a stressful season, or simply overdue for real restoration, our therapists meet your body where it is and work with intention. Modalities vary by practitioner and may include Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, prenatal, sports, trigger point, and more. Located in Overland Park and serving the full Kansas City metro.

  • Gentle work. Profound results. Lymphatic drainage massage uses light, rhythmic strokes to stimulate the lymphatic system — the body's primary waste-removal and immune-support network. When lymph flow is sluggish or compromised, the effects show up as swelling, puffiness, fatigue, frequent illness, skin congestion, and a general feeling of being waterlogged in your own body. Manual lymphatic drainage clears that. It's particularly valuable post-surgery (especially cosmetic procedures), during cancer treatment and recovery, for autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, and as a regular maintenance practice for anyone whose lymphatic system needs support.

  • Thousands of years of clinical evidence. And it still works. Acupuncture works by stimulating specific points along the body's meridian pathways — regulating the flow of qi, calming the nervous system, reducing inflammation, and supporting the body's own healing mechanisms. At Very Well KC, our licensed acupuncturist treats a wide range of conditions including chronic and acute pain, anxiety and stress, hormonal imbalance, digestive disorders, fertility support, migraines, insomnia, and fatigue. Sessions are quiet, focused, and often deeply relaxing in a way that surprises first-timers. New patients are welcome in Overland Park and throughout the Kansas City metro.

  • The oldest complete system of medicine on the planet — and still one of the most practical. Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old Indian system of health that works with your individual constitution (dosha) to understand why your body behaves the way it does — and what it actually needs to come back into balance. At Very Well KC, Ayurvedic offerings include bodywork treatments like Abhyanga (warm oil massage), Shirodhara (oil poured continuously over the forehead), and targeted therapies for detox, nervous system regulation, and seasonal alignment — alongside constitutional wellness consultations for those who want to understand their body through an Ayurvedic lens. If you've ever felt like conventional wellness advice just doesn't fit you, this might be why.

  • Your skin isn't a surface problem. Holistic skincare at Very Well KC treats your face as a reflection of what's happening inside — hormonally, digestively, structurally, and systemically. Our licensed estheticians bring a whole-body perspective to every treatment, combining results-driven skincare techniques with approaches like lymphatic facial massage, gua sha, and structural facial work that address the deeper layers — not just the top of the skin. Whether you're dealing with acne, hyperpigmentation, premature aging, rosacea, or skin that's just not responding to products anymore, we look at the full picture. Because your skin is usually trying to tell you something.

  • Same needle. Completely different system. Dry needling uses fine filiform needles inserted directly into myofascial trigger points — the tight, hypersensitive knots in muscle tissue that refer pain, restrict movement, and don't respond to stretching or massage alone. It is not acupuncture; it works on the neuromuscular system rather than meridian pathways, and the mechanism and application are distinct. At Very Well KC, dry needling is performed by certified practitioners and is particularly effective for neck and shoulder tension, low back pain, IT band issues, plantar fasciitis, headaches, and chronic musculoskeletal pain that has plateaued with other treatment. Fast-acting, precise, and often the missing piece in a stubborn pain pattern.

  • The lightest touch. Some of the deepest results. Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, non-invasive form of hands-on bodywork that works with the craniosacral system — the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Through subtle holds and listening contact, a trained practitioner releases restrictions in this system that affect the central nervous system, pain processing, and the body's capacity to self-regulate. It looks like almost nothing is happening. What's actually happening is significant. Craniosacral therapy is particularly effective for migraines and chronic headaches, TMJ dysfunction, concussion recovery, trauma held in the nervous system, chronic pain with no clear structural cause, and a dysregulated system that hasn't responded to more forceful approaches. An ideal complement to chiropractic care, talk therapy, and somatic work.

Our Process

Your Body Keeps the Score. We Help It Let Go.

Chronic tension, old injuries, and unprocessed stress don't just live in the mind — they take up residence in muscle, fascia, and bone. Our body therapists work with what your physical self has been quietly carrying.

Treatment That Goes Beyond the Symptom

Pain is a signal, not the whole story. Our practitioners look upstream — at structure, movement patterns, nervous system tone, and the compensations your body built around the original problem.

Ancient Practices. Real Clinical Results.

Acupuncture, Ayurveda, and lymphatic work have thousands of years of use behind them — and growing bodies of research in front of them. Effective isn't the same as familiar.

Your Whole Body, in One Building

Massage, chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture, skincare, and more — all under one roof, with practitioners who actually talk to each other about your care. That coordination is rare. Here, it's just how we work.
