I am a principled doctor of chiropractic and will deliver the highest care possible through the detection and correction of subluxations in your spine and joints from newborns to older adults - along with acupuncture and nutritional guidance, all to allow your body and mind to awaken and express health, life, and love. I will treat each person with love and respect in a way that leaves you cared for, acknowledged, and empowered. The power that made the body heals the body.
Dr. Wiggins is a 1993 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic University. She owned and operated Green Hills Chiropractic and Acupuncture for 26 years in her hometown of Trenton, MO, before moving to the KC area in 2021 to be near her family. She is happy to be led to practice with other holistic healers at Very Well KC. Dr. Wiggins has also completed the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association certification and has been Acupuncture certified for 15 years.
In her free time, Alissa enjoys spending time with her fiancé Brent, daughter Maci, and other family and friends. She also cooks, plays golf, hikes, works out, and spends time at the lake. She expands her spiritual growth and lives from a place of love.
Alissa’s Chiropractic approach:
A chiropractic adjustment restores normal spine and nervous system motion, allowing better communication between your body and brain. Alissa will begin with a thorough health history and examination to detect vertebral misalignments/subluxations. The adjustment can be made by hand and/or with the assistance of an Activator! Alissa can also address the soft tissue restrictions by trigger point work, acupuncture or dry needling. Alissa tailors her adjustments to each patient and at each visit.
Alissa offers corrective and maintenance care plans, making it more affordable for you and your family. She also offers a flat rate option for each service available.
For more information about Alissa, follow Green Hills Chiropractic & Acupuncture on Facebook, or you may contact Alissa via email at greenhillschiro1970@yahoo.com.

Massage Therapist & Reiki Practitioner
Nic is a massage therapist, Reiki healer, father, philosopher, and spouse. He has been licensed in massage since 2020, and has practiced Reiki since 2022. A massage session with Nic is a pause from the stressors of the daily routine. It is a chance for the nervous system to relax, and an opportunity for stiff and tired muscles to let their guard down. His massage style achieves this through a slow, deliberate, intuitive, and perfectly weighted touch that works with the body’s miraculous ability to repair itself when it feels safe to do so. As a Reiki healer, Nic listens to where the energy needs to go and obeys. A session might feel like a calming reset, a burst of intense energy, a transformative emotional release, or something completely different and unique to the individual.

Teressa is a trauma-informed, collaborative therapist who practices a holistic approach. She works with individuals 21+ and non-traditional relationship structures (ethical non-monogamy polyamory, etc.). “Watching people show up, work hard, and reap the amazing benefits in their lives from their practices of courage and vulnerability gives me life.”
Teressa graduated with two undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice and Elementary Education from Evangel University in 1997, pursuing law enforcement as her first career for several years. Next up was staying home with her baby boy (who’s a grown man in the United States Navy now!), then working as a private investigator for the Missouri State Board of Nursing and the Missouri Real Estate Commission.

Yoga Instructor
Erica started practicing yoga in 2004 shortly after the birth of her second child. With a new baby (and a new body) she needed a way to define herself. As an experienced athlete she attended her first class only to find she was awkward, lost her balance a lot, and didn’t understand her own body. She continued to show up to classes and soon realized the benefits of spending time on her yoga mat each day. Through 3 kids, 2 cross country moves, and the death of her Mom, yoga has always been the best way to tap into her inner strength and the constant source of centering her mind and body.
Erica strives to teach yoga breath by breath, to connect mind to body, and get the physical, emotional, and mental benefits of each pose. Her goal is to make each student understand their body and explore the endless potential in all postures, whether that is on a chair, in a restorative pose, or in a strenuous vinyasa class. She believes that work on the mat helps to strengthen the physical body, calm emotions, and lead to mental enlightenment. Her workshop hours include education in breathwork healing, arm balances & inversions, anatomy, chakras, and Ayurveda. Erica Heise

Yoga Instructor
I started my yoga journey with a DVD I found in my small town while in high school. It wasn’t until I moved to Kansas City that I stepped foot in a yoga studio and fell in love with the challenge of breath with movement and the escape from my daily anxiety. I completed my 200 hours in May of 2020 at KC Yoga Kula. Within training, I began my journey of falling in love with myself. With finding grace, love and acceptance for myself, I’ve been able to bring that to my teachings. My hope is that we may all find that and more, on and off the mat through our practice. Off the mat, I’m a mother of a sweet boy and enjoy doing all things from playdoh to hiking to snuggling to a good movie with him. I am also a boxing coach with my husband at our family’s gym.

Hi there! My name is Rikki and I am a passionate yoga instructor with 2+ years of teaching experience in restorative yoga, vinyasa flows, and guided meditations all over Kansas City. I am also known for being a HUGE bookworm, so you can find me in various coffee shops and patios around the city with a book, but I hope to see you in class as well!

Yoga Instructor
Hi there! I’m Lauren. Like many others, I initially turned to yoga for its physical benefits. Over time, I discovered its deeper, transformative power—both mentally and spiritually—which inspired me to pursue my certification.Vinyasa flow is my favorite style to teach, as it offers a beautiful opportunity to synchronize breath and movement, allowing both myself and my students to cultivate a deeper connection to the body and spirit. I love creating creative, dynamic sequences that inspire students to explore new poses within a supportive, safe space.
When I’m not teaching yoga or working as a full time RN, you can find me outdoors with my family. Whether we’re hiking, camping, backpacking, or simply enjoying time around the fire, nature is our happy place. I’m excited to connect with you and help you deepen your practice!

Pranayama Breathwork Instructor
Nicole Jordan pursued the path to learning breathwork techniques after feeling disconnected from herself - physically and emotionally. She noticed her anxiety and physical tension began to lessen after doing activating and calming techniques. As she noticed the subtle shifts, she decided to study Breathwork as an Instructor to share with others the harmony that breathwork can bring to oneself. Nicole's techniques are rooted in Pranayama (Prana - life energy) and Yama (regulation of breath or control). She wholeheartedly believes in the power of breathwork and how it can bring kindness, self-worth, and inner peace into all aspects of life. Nicole incorporates movement, intention, and healing visualizations into her practice. She is passionate about helping others embrace themselves in grace and love.

Yoga Instructor
Nicole started their yoga journey as a way to combat depression and anxiety. Yoga become so much more for her, and opened up their consciousness. Nicole fell in love with the community that local yoga studios offer and the conversations with random yogis before class on their mats. When Nicole isn’t doing yoga, you can find them reading a book, going on a run or bike ride, attending live music events, or playing with her cats. Nicole believes everyone should incorporate yoga into their daily life, and spend more time outside.
