Holistic Esthetician Professional Skills Training
A 6-Hour In-Person and Hands-On Intensive
This immersive, hands-on training is designed for licensed estheticians and touch practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of holistic esthetics beyond buzzwords and trends.
Rather than adding more techniques to your toolbox, this training focuses on how and why we work—exploring the connection between skin health, stress, the nervous system, and intentional touch. You’ll learn how to support clients more effectively, safely, and sustainably through nervous-system-aware facial work.
This is a grounded, skill-based training rooted in real treatment room experience.
What to Expect
Foundations of Holistic Esthetics
A clear, modern understanding of what it means to practice holistically today—including the role of the nervous system, overstimulation, and practitioner presence.
Nervous-System-Led Facial Touch
Learn how pressure, pacing, rhythm, and pause communicate safety to the body. Develop the ability to read client cues and adapt in real time without breaking trust.
Hands-On Manual Skills
Foundational facial massage principles with an emphasis on fascia awareness, lymphatic movement, and integrated work through the face, neck, jaw, décolleté, and shoulders.
Gua Sha & Facial Cupping Foundations
Intentional, hands-first use of tools—when to use them, how to use them, and when not to. Tools are introduced as supportive extensions of touch, not replacements.
Led by Joann
This training is led by Joann, a holistic esthetician with 13 years of experience and a licensed esthetics instructor. Her approach blends nervous system awareness, anatomy, and intuitive yet precise touch—bridging traditional esthetics with a more sustainable, embodied way of working.
